Bryan Senti est un compositeur, violoniste et altiste latino-américain basé à Los Angeles. Son premier album, “Manu”, sortira en 2022 et combine des influences latino-américaines et néoclassiques. Parmi ses récentes collaborations figurent des projets avec Dustin O’Halloran et Peter Gregson pour Deutsche Grammophon.
Sa carrière au cinéma et à la télévision a commencé avec “Experimenter” de Michael Almereyda en 2014 et il a depuis travaillé sur de multiples films et séries, notamment la série “Save Me” (2021) de Lennie James, qui a remporté un BAFTA. En ce moment, il compose la musique de la comédie musicale de BBC 3, “Super Hoe” de Nicôle Lecky.
En plus d’écrire de la musique classique, Bryan Senti a créé un projet pop expérimental, “Ex Mykah”, signé par le label londonien Kowloon Records et son LP “16, 17” est sorti en 2018. Il a également collaboré avec Mark Ronson sur sa production “Carbon Life”, interprétée par le Royal Ballet, et a tourné et enregistré en studio pour la canadienne Feist.
Bryan a été diplômé d’un master en composition musicale de la Yale School of Music en 2009.
Son album « Manu » paru en 2022 connait une renaissance cette année avec une version remixée, où Bryan Senti s’entoure d’artistes jazz, classique ou encore de musique électronique.

LA-based composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer Bryan Senti, released his post-classical debut album ‘Manu’ on June 24th 2022 via French independent, Naïve. The Manu Remix record is set to be released July 7th, 2023 and features artists Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, Toumani Diabaté and Ian Chang among others. A virtuoso violinist, Senti has worked with artists including Dustin O’Halloran, Peter Gregson and Niklas Paschburg and has scored multiple films and TV shows.
Senti began studying violin at the age of three and went on to study composition at Yale and Carnegie Mellon in the US. He was the lead composer on the 2021 BAFTA winning series ‘Save Me’ by Lennie James and recently received a BAFTA for scoring the TV series musical, “Mood" by Nicôle Lecky.
Senti once again works with themes close to the heart, deftly transforming our understanding of the relationship between neo-classical music and the folk and indigenous music of Latin America – Senti is of Cuban and Colombian decent. “Manu, for me, is a deeply personal record that threads the needle between the western classical music that I was schooled in and the music of my parent’s homelands, Colombia and Cuba, as well as greater Latin America. At the outset of my journey to connect these two worlds was a re-examining of performance practice on my primary instrument, the violin. So much of what is saliently characteristic of folk music is encapsulated in the way it’s played".
