Né en 1981, nourri de multiples influences, Yaron Herman est l’un des pianistes les plus reconnus et les plus singuliers de la scène jazz internationale. Depuis ses premiers albums en solo, duo, trio, parus dans les années 2000, Yaron Herman a développé un art unique de l’improvisation, de l’expérience - de la reprise, aussi, comme en atteste le succès de son Toxic (Britney Spears). Tout en théorisant, publiant et développant une audience autour du concept de créativité.
Après dix albums, le voici qui se jette dans le vide avec la sortie en octobre 2022 de son projet « Alma » et, pour la première fois, nous offre un corpus entièrement improvisé, à la fois sidérante photo de l’instant et foisonnant miroir de son passé.
"Dans cet album j’ai voulu aller à l’essentiel. En dehors de tout concept pré défini, de plan, d’idée de thèmes particuliers. Juste, de me mettre au piano, fermer les yeux et me laisser guider par la musique. Partir en voyage intérieur." Un album de piano solo qui a déjà fait ses preuves en ayant conquis plus de 3M d'auditeurs.
S’en suit une édition deluxe sortie en juillet 2023 avec 5 titres inédits. Une réédition qui nous laisse la possibilité d'aller plus loin dans le voyage intérieur de l'artiste.
